On October 2nd, 2020 Brooklyn rapper Skyzoo is releasing his 6th EP Milestones on vinyl. Named after his son Miles the EP appears to be conceptual. Main topic appears to be fatherhood in where Skyzoo also creates a bright picture of the relationship between him and his father.
With the 2006 release “Cloud 9: The Three Day High“, produced by 9th Wonder, Skyzoo made his voice heard to a bigger audience. Ever since he is not disappointing when it comes to true Hip Hop. Collaboration albums with Torae or the LP with alternative Jazz Band Dumbo Station are just a portion of his impeccably consistent discography.
Apart from being a beast lyrically he’s excellent in beat picking. Collaboration albums with Detroit producer Apollo Brown or recently the record Retropolitan produced entirely by living legend Pete Rock.
With Milestones New York rapper now comes off with a very mature boom bap EP featuring Jazz elements all over the record.
