This year Record Store Day will be quite different from recent events. Not only by name, also for the fact that for security reasons the worldwide biggest indie vinyl event will be split into 3 days.

Last week we presented a selection of all Hip Hop releases for the first day.

Day 2 of RSD-Drops 20 will take place on September 26th, 2020 and will feature more Hip Hop records than every other day this year:

Starting the list with the critically acclaimed boom bap collaboration album between Murs & 9th Wonder published december 2015. Now brought to us on vinyl for the first time.

Only difference to the original download release is the missing cut “No Shots” featuring Mac Miller. Disc will be pressed on blue & white swirl colored vinyl.

Moving on with the 25th anniversary release of ODB’s 1995 album. Recently platinum-certified the debut album re-released in a 9 x 7-inch Single box. Discs will be pressed on white, blue and yellow vinyl.

Also included is the 7-inch release of “Latoya Jackson”. The gritty posse cut which appeared to be on the collaboration album between Sean Price & Small Professor named “86 Witness”.

The collector’s edition will be limited to 1000 copies on striking bubble gum pink vinyl. The B side contains a “Back to the Old School Remix” with a guest verse from Masta Ace.

Cover artwork was handled by Atlanta based artist FRKO who reimagined the cover of Just-Ice’s classic LP Back To The Old School.
